American Oldsmobile

It was mainly introduced by General Motors as performance driven car and luxury sedan and it was launched on 1995. Aurora was built on the same platform by Buick Riviera and same Cadillac used G-platform. When in the year 1996, the 98 model was discontinued and it became the flagship vehicle of Oldsmobile brand. In 2001, A V6 engine configured power car version was introduced to replace the requirement of LSS and 88 Version. Still Aurora could not attract people like a craze. It was very promising from the sales aspect because the original Oldsmobile was much hit product of the market. According to the market analysis the car was under the big shadow of GM, in the advertisement the company got more emphasis than the car itself.

General Motors launched several version of this car model to make a clicked in the market and that is why there are multiple version of this model exists in the automobile market.

In 1996 daytime running lights were installed in Aurora versions, a MAF sensor was installed before the throttle assembly line and for the changes in the model there wee some legal controversies raised by Oldsmobile as GM eliminated the rear window.

In 1997, an electronic compass was installed near the inside view mirror, and there was some change in right side mirror in reverse advantage to help the driver see the curb properly. A Bose made CD player and 12-CD player was kept in option.

In the year 1998, the suspension and steering was modified and upgraded by planning by GM, On star feature was keep in option; the changes were incorporated for better feel good experience on driving of the car.

In the year 1990 the production was on but in 200 there was no launch for any new version.
